Wait, what?

I was at my friend Emily's house the other day, and she has these children's books that are completely in japanese. Have you ever tried to understand a story based on nothing but the pictures? It's not fun. To show you what I mean, try to figure out what's going on in this story based only on the pictures. Good Luck :D

Andy Grammer- Keep Your Head Up

This song is SOOOO happy. Every time I'm feeling like this-

Just listening to this song makes me feel like this-

(Also, if you pay close attention to the stick people, this song also apparently causes me to grow a nose)

Youtube wouldn't let me post the music video for it on here, but I suggest looking it up. (Especially if you are a fan of the show The Office)

Dear Spammers,

I solemnly promise you that no matter how many times you call, email, or text me, I am never going to consider buying Viagra.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Abby Noel

Sorry to break it to you, but you look like an idiot.

Facebook pictures used to be of people when they went to cool places, or pictures with friends. (You know, kinda like scrap book pictures) Nowadays more and more people have pictures that have at least 3 of these characteristics-

Yeah, cause that's so attractive

And don't forget every pervy guy's favorite kind of picture-

   "Oh darn, looks like I accidentally cut out my head and every thing else except for my chest. Oh well, I might as well post this anyway, because I don't want to waste a picture"

I had to censor this out because even in badly drawn cartoon form, cleavage looks gross.

I swear girls purposely wear teeny tiny tank tops, and then take a picture of themselves at an angle where you can see right down their shirts (most of the time you cant even see their faces) and then they set it as their PROFILE PICTURE. Come on girls, have some decency.

But then it gets to a whole new level of nasty when they tag a bunch of guys in it.  For those of you who don't have facebook, basically tagging them guarantees that the person tagged will see it.

Please girls, the only guy that is ever going to be attracted by those pictures are not worth your time at all.

Always,
Abby Noel

P.S. I love how I managed to rant, have a funny cartoon, and give a meaningful life lesson all in the same post.  Man, I'm talented.

Flat Bobby

You all have heard of Flat Stanley, right? Well, in case you haven't, it's basically this thing that is mainly done in elementary schools where kids print out and color a little paper doll and then send it to relatives or friends who then take pictures with Flat Stanley in different places. I'm pretty sure it's based off of a book.

Well I thought of my own version- Flat Bobby. (*crosses fingers that this doesn't violate some copyright thing*)
Most people bring Flat Stanley to places like- sports games, boats, the store, etc. Let's just say Flat Bobby had a bit more interesting adventure.

Review for The Kidnapping of Christina Lattimore

 Christina Lattimore, a high school junior, has the life that people dream of. She lives in a big house, her family is wealthy, and her Grandmother is going to pay all of her college tuition.

But then, while she is coming home late one night, she is kidnapped and drugged. She wakes up in a dark, cold cellar. She learns that her captors are trying to get her grandmother to pay ransom. Even though she gets away unharmed after a few days, she's not safe just yet. Her family thinks that she is the one who created the whole kidnapping scheme.

Even though she is advised against it, Christina knows that she must prove her innocence, no matter what it takes.

~~~
This book was really suspenseful, and kept me hooked to the point that I actually finished it in only 3 days.  I would definitely suggest this to anyone who likes suspense and mystery books. The one thing I really didn't like (even thought it had nothing to do with the story) was that the chapters are long. In a 320 page book, I think there were only about 13 chapters.  Don't let it stop you from reading the book though, I just prefer shorter chapters because it's easier to find a stopping point if you don't plan on sitting down and reading for long periods of time.
Some one suggest a book?
I just finished the book I was reading (I'll post a review tomorrow) and I need something new to read. Please suggest a book for me :) It doesn't have to be something you think I would like, just if everyone that reads this tells me their favorite book, I should have a pretty good list for when I go to the library tomorrow.
Big Nose Dude
When my friend Olivia and I were sent to county debates (along with other people from our school that aren't relevant to this story at all so I'll just pretend they don't exist) she was put on a team with a guy that we both thought had a big nose. So instead of calling him by his real name, we referred to him as "Big Nose Dude"
That was in about the middle of the school year, so we haven't seen a lot of those people for a while. But just the other day, I saw Big Nose Dude at a store.  I probably would have said hi, but I couldn't remember his name at all. The only thing I could think of was "big nose dude"
In his defense, his nose really isn't as big as I remember it being.
It's going to be here before you know it...
{Skirt- Urban Outfitters, Shirt- Kohls, Shoes- Converse, Cardigan- Old Navy}
I just bought this skirt a few days ago, and as I was trying to find other clothes that would go with it, I ended up making an outfit that felt really back-to-school-ish. So I thought- "Okay, how cool would it be if we took pictures by the elementary school playground?" Yes I know, very cool.
Also if you notice the books that I'm carrying, those are my old books that I posted about a while ago. (You can read that post by clicking HERE)  The ironic thing about it was that in the skirt there are little bits of red and green, and two of the three old books I bought are red and green. So they fit in the pictures color wise, and for the theme I was going for. I just love when things work out perfectly :D
I might have to actually wear this on the first day of school. As of now, I already have three first-day-of-school outfits. So knowing how good I am at making decisions, that's going to end up being a problem.
Comments on the pictures?
Book Review- Saving Max
"What would a loving mother not do  for her child?"
Here's a video I found on Youtube about the book-
For the first 80 pages or so, I didn't really like this book. I'll admit it- I was close to just not reading the rest of it, but I made myself just continue, and I'm glad I did. Danielle, Max's mother, does so many things that will make you want to ask her "What the heck do you think you're doing?!?" and if you're anything like me, you will actually say that to the book. Yeah... don't ask.
There are also a lot of twists that you'll never see coming. Overall, it was a really thought provoking book and I would definitely recommend it. However, there were parts in the book that are a little bit disturbing and graphic, so read with caution.
You can now add a terrible commercial to his resume.
Watch Justin Beiber's new perfume commercial.
So basically the message he's trying to get across is that if you buy this perfume,  a teenage pop star will break into your house, sniff your neck, and then the two of you will fly around in the sky.
What did he put in this perfume?!?
P.S. Oh yeah, and I got free lemonade because the guy at Auntie Anne's pretzels thought my sister was hot.
P.S. (again)  I found the game! Go HERE to play!
I really don't know why I'm letting human beings see this...
Just an old video I made with mi primo. (I'll just let you try to figure out what that means)
The BEST moisturizer I've ever bought
This post is way overdue.
I am completely in love with this moisturizer. My friend Katie (thanks so much katie!) suggested this to me and I swear, I am never going to use anything else. I bought it for only $8 at CVS. It makes my skin super soft and works after just one use.  Oh yeah, and I'm not getting payed to say any of this :)
 My point is, if you have dry skin, or oily skin (like me) or heck, if you have skin on your face at all, this is perfect.
 (I just don't suggest trying to reenact the picture, because you'll most likely end up with wet, shattered glass all over your bathroom floor)
 You can click HERE to go to the Garnier web page for this product. (oh wow, that sounded official)
Good news guys!
I just got an email, and there are 13 Latino singles in this area looking for me! Also, I can save 25% on my next shopping trip! Isn't that great?!?
I. Just. Love. Spam.
Just press play.
I didn't even watch this before I posted it (I'm too lazy, which is-as you will soon find out- the reason for making this video in the first place) so if this is terrible, oh well. Then leave.
(but please don't leave! I love you!)
One more thing I forgot to say in the video- keep the dares coming, I need a few more before I can make a poll and have you guys vote for how you would like me to humiliate myself.
Truth or Dare?
Okay, your only real option is dare.
You guys can dare me to do something and under the conditions that it wouldn't harm or expose me, I'll put them on a poll and I'll do whichever dare wins!
So go ahead, dare me. (either comment or email me) I dare you.
Run! The Donuts are Coming!
You all know my friend Emily (she's the wacky one) Well she told me about a dream she had a few days ago. Here it is in her own words-
" I was in geography and we were learning about Japan so the class was making sushi, but the boxes we had didn't have any sushi in them, so we ordered some more and they came out of the microwave. When I opened the microwave, it was filled with donuts and they were EVERYWHERE! So now I'm terrified of donuts and I give it a month before I eat them again!"
Before you judge Emily, think back to your last nightmare about donuts.
Exactly. We've all been there.
Always,
Abby Noel
P.S. I just realized how adorable that evil donut looks. I mean, aside from it being in the process of devouring a stick person.
