........

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been super busy with school and other things. I'm attempting to sew a skirt, so wish me luck. I'll start posting regularly again on Monday and by then I'll probably be done with the skirt, so there will be pictures! Until then, have an awesome week.

Super Powers?

You know how people always ask "If you could have one super power, what would it be?"  Well, that's basically what I'm asking. So comment.

I think if I could have one super power, I would want to be able to read, write, speak, and understand every language ever. How cool would that be to go anywhere and be able to communicate no matter what? That's probably just my inner nerd coming out. So what would you want?

Katie, you're beautiful and should never change!

Dear Katie,
I can't believe that you would want to change your hair color. Do you realize how many people would kill for red hair? Like these people-

NONE of those people were born with red hair. Each and everyone of them WANTED to have red hair, and that isn't even all of them.
You were lucky enough to be blessed with the most amazing, unique hair color. I wish I had more then just the occasional, barely visible highlights of red. I'll gladly take your hair! And when people call you Ginger, we don't mean anything bad by it.

People, please comment and help me talk some sense into my friend!

Help Fight World Hunger...

There is an amazing website Free Rice that allows you to donate rice just by answering questions. You can answer questions in a variety of subjects, including math, art, geography, vocabulary, and more. For each one you answer correctly, the World Food Programme will donate 10 grains of rice. So far 1,751,965,440 grains of rice have been donated just this year. So help out!

The best things happen at train stations...

My grandparents are here to visit, so my mom was at the train station to pick them up. She sat down to text someone, and heard a man talking loudly about how "the government doesn't respect us, and doesn't care about us, and the constitution.." and so on. My mom just ignored it and figured that he was talking to someone on the phone. That's when my mom noticed the bearded lady sitting next to her. Yes. It was a lady. And she did have a beard. As if that moment wasn't already uncomfortable enough, she looked up and realized that the man wasn't talking to anyone.

And you thought your city was weird.

National Geographic

The best pictures ever are from the National Geographic magazine, so since I had no idea what else to write about (and because having 17 followers give me more pressure to post something good every day) here are some of my favorite pictures.

Grammy's

As I was trying to type this, the automatic spell checker on this iPad tried to change "Grammy's" to "Granny's". Just imagine winning a small bronze elderly person in a rocking chair. What would that be for? Best knitter of the year?

When I first saw John Mayer walk down the red carpet I thought it was Johnny Depp because he had the whole creepy facial hair thing going on. But no. (and I was slightly disappointed because I love Johnny Depp)

Lady GaGa, you know I love you, but you didn't really live up to your own standards. Yeah, I know what you guys are thinking "she showed up in an egg! How much more GaGa can it get?". That was great and everything, but I love it when she wears some crazy dress. Like last year, that was amazing.

So to get off the subject that I'm sure everyone is also talking about, I'll tell you about what I was watching a bit earlier in the day. I saw a "E! True Hollywood Story" of Katy Perry (Who had an amazing performance at the Grammy's) and it was just a huge inspiration because they were talking bout how she got rejected by so many record labels but she just didn't let anything stop her. When I finally get done with school and move to L.A. (to start the acting career that I can't wait to work my butt off to get) I'll probably have to keep reminding myself of that. I know that there is going to be rejection, but that's just part of the entertainment industry.

And now because I can't help getting back to the subject of the Grammy's, here are some of my favorite red carpet clothes from last night.

That's about it. The red carpet was a bit disappointing this time around. :[

Chocolate Induced Heart Attacks

Valentines Day is by far my least favorite holiday. It's all a scam to get people to blow a bunch of money on candy, cards, and flowers. If you really loved someone, you wouldn't need a holiday to to do something nice for them.

On Friday my friend was having an "I Hate Valentines Day" party. We wrote a bunch of sappy love quotes on post-it notes and then lit them on fire one by one (which, come to think of it, is a very good way to take out anger without actually harming anyone.) Then we roasted a bunch of heart shaped marshmallows and ate them. (they taste the best when they are completely burnt :] ) Then, like the girls we are, we ended up just gossiping for the rest of it.

Oh yeah! I forget to say- I figured out why valentines gifts are always so fattening! It's because most of the people that are receiving them are already in a relationship, so it doesn't matter how fat they get.

Always,
Abby Noel

P.S. The title of this is a complete lie because having a little bit of chocolate each day can reduce the risk of heart attacks. Although, I doubt eating a big chocolate heart filled with peanut butter would help a whole lot.

New Technology From Apple...

I'm sure you've all heard of the iPad.

Well my mom recently got one of those for her birthday. Today, she was talking about that now she doesn't have to get out of bed for anything now other then going to the bathroom. So I sent this problem in to the apple executives and they are already coming out with this.

Introducing- The iPotty!

(look for the iPotty 2.0 in stores in only five minutes)
(then, 10 minutes after that, the iPotty 3.0 will go on sale)

Well I see SOMEONE is in a bad mood...

I was just at Target today and noticed the check out lady's name. It looked really weird, so I asked her how to pronounce it and she said, in a super rude voice (as if I had offended her) "It's Stephanie, just spelled differently." I didn't say anything to her after that. Grrr...Why are all the check out people I go to always in bad moods?

100th Post!

It's 6:54 in the morning and I have already had an extremely productive day. I've showered, eaten a balanced breakfast (which includes peppermint green tea that I'm finishing off right now), finished homework,  and now I get to write my 100th post! This is a super huge milestone because I've had blogs in the past that never really got anywhere because I gave up on them. I feel like I should buy myself a gift to celebrate.

I could get these adorable earrings for $22...

...but of course, this would be nice too.

I just put up a new music player on the Extras page that allows me to have a bunch more songs on there at the same time without slowing down the whole page. Any song requests? Comment.

Things you might hear while sitting in my math class...

Well, they're actually things you would hear if you were in my math class.

"I can't see because I'm Asian."

"Charlie bit me! No, I'm serious!"

"I believe this class lowers self-esteem, so I choose not to answer that question."

"I can't see over his big fat head!"

"♫ Ham, Ham, Hammering all day long!♫"

"I have lost all joy. I can not go on."

"Pay no attention to the person hiding underneath your chair."

"Abby, I can't find Reese. I think he became the wall."

"If you throw that at me one more time, I will walk over there and personally shove it down your throat."

"I'm saving trees by recycling a plastic water bottle."

"Flabby-Abby. Oh I get it, it rhymes!"

"Ms. Haskin, I think we need to go to relationship counseling."

"But don't eat a real jellyfish, OR YOU'LL DIE"

"I feel smart now! Oh dang it. Nevermind."

"Don't you dare throw your eye patch at me!"

"So I was watching Tyra, and..."

Always,
Abby

P.S. This probably will not be the last post like this considering most of these came from just today. Tomorrow I'll write them down so I remember :]

Is it bad to be proud of yourself?

Because in that case, I am an extremely bad person.
To anyone who doesn't already know (which, come to think of it is probably everyone reading this right now) I have a hard time singing in front of big groups of people because my heart starts to pound A LOT and I shake. This has been happening ever since sixth grade chorus when we would be able to sing whatever we wanted on Fridays.
However, today I was at a informational meeting for my school's new Creative Arts Club. (C.A.C. is whack...haha, that's the slogan) We had a bunch of extra time, so they let anyone who wanted to come up and sing or whatever to do so. And of course, in a never ending attempt to get over my shaking problem, I volunteered first. I sang the first part of Should've Said No by Taylor Swift and,-good news!- the shaking didn't affect my singing a whole lot. I was still shaking so much that it was visible from all the way in the back of the room, but it didn't make my voice sound like I was on a train like it normally does. Then after that my friend Rayne and I performed a little skit we already knew from the acting class we're both in. That was a big hit too because, well, I guess we're funny :]

I still have to audition to get into the club, so my friend Emma and I are going to find a short scene we can both be in at the same time. Speaking of which, I should probably go to another Internet location to find a script for us. Bye Bye

It's official... I'm obsessed...

I don't know what it is about the show Pretty Little Liars, but I can't get it out of my head. I just love everything about it. The actors, the clothes, the music, the suspense (even though I already know who "A), I just love everything. If you haven't watched any of this show, it's basically about a group of friends that start to receive messages signed "-A" exactly a year after their friend's disappearance. So I thought today, just 20 minutes before I'm actually going to be watching the show, a little picture montage would be fun. Enjoy :]

As addictive as crack...

...not that I would know...

The Facebook game and iPod app Robot Unicorn Attack is the most addictive game ever invented.

You can play in the classic mode which is all happy and bubbly,
or you can play in the slightly more disturbing Heavy Metal version.

My high score is 57582 as of now. Post your high score in the comments!
And if you haven't played yet, I suggest you do, because it's really easy once you get a hang of it.

He said I looked sad. He asked me what was wrong. For five seconds it almost seemed like he cared.  Guess not.

I just have to ask...

Well the Super Bowl is this weekend and I felt I needed to ask the one question that EVERYONE will feel the need to comment on.

Steelers or Packers?

I'm rooting for the Steelers. I mean, how could you not?

Look at his hair!!! You almost HAVE to root for them!

Sooo...answer in comments!

Mona Lisa...

...might be a man. I just saw an article on Yahoo that said that according to Silvano Vinceti, the model for The Mona Lisa was a man named Gian Giacomo Caprotti, better known as Salai, who was an apprentice to da Vinci.

Just thought I'd share. Make sure to read the two posts below- they're also new.

On a happier side note...

I left this out of the very depressing post I just wrote below this- but I got a 97% on my Spanish midterm! But of course, when Erin (hi Erin!)  says that she got a 97% every boy in the class yells out about how amazing it is. However, when the nerdy looser sitting in the corner of the classroom (a.k.a. me) says the same thing, no one cares. Hmm... I just managed to turn a happy side note into a self pity party.  Now that takes some real talent.

Be careful what you wish for...

A few posts down, I mentioned that I wanted my school life to be like degrassi, but I corrected myself and said that I didn't want all of the bad stuff. Well I realized today that I might just get it anyway.

Maybe a month or two ago, a student at my school that I kind of knew was accused of rape. I'm not even kidding. He was kicked out of school and there is going to be a trial, or they already had the trail, I have no idea because the girl won't tell me. I have some personal problems with the girl that accused him, and I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if she was lying. My friend Lizzie was close friends with the boy who was accused, but she has absolutely no way to contact him.  This whole thing is horrible either way because if she's telling the truth, then she got raped, but if she's lying, he is in jail right now for no reason.

If I ever find out how this whole thing ends, I'll tell you guys. (I can say "you guys" now because I'm up to 11 followers! Cheer with me!)
